The full moon is the time in the lunar cycle of greatest light and highest energy. It is a time for celebration, harvest, community, and letting go. The upcoming full moon is in the work hard, play hard sign of Capricorn. ♑️

Full moons create a state of dynamic tension because the sun and moon are across from each other in the sky and in opposing signs. By working with and balancing these opposing energies, we are able to harness them and use them for manifestation, celebration, and release. 🌕

With the moon in Capricorn and the sun in Cancer, we are being called to find the balance between structure and flow.

We are balancing the energies of

1) being in boss mode and creating solid structures that will help us live out our purpose  ♑️

with

2) being deeply IN the purpose and feeling all things that give life the most meaning ♋

These are like the mother and father energies of the zodiac with Capricorn being the stern but loving father that pushes us towards our greatest potential and Cancer being the loving but fierce mother who nurtures us and gives us unconditional love. We are creating a space where these energies can co-exist and enhance each other.

Capricorn is an earth sign that brings up themes around taking full ownership of our lives, fulfilling our sacred duty, facing our demons, and living on purpose.

Ruled by the stern taskmaster, Saturn, there is definitely a no-nonsense energy about Capricorn.

But it's not all work and no play. Capricorn also correlates to the Devil card in the tarot deck. This brings in the aspect of having a healthy relationship with our demons and even inviting in our mischeivous side.

Ultimately, Capricorn is the sacred space holder, inviting us to create a solid structure that we can flow through. Taking the time to lay foundations and create safe space that will allow us to show up in service and live out our sacred purpose is always worth the effort. This might feel like tough, sobering work, but creating a safe structure ultimately provides a great deal of freedoom and flow.

This is a great time to look back on the intentions you set during the last Capricorn season (December-January) as well as the intentions you set during the last new moon, and see what fruit is ripe to harvest, what needs some more work, and what needs to be released.

We are also celebrating the Summer Solstice. Throughout human history, the solstices and equinoxes have been sacred times of ritual, ceremony and celebration.  These special days are powerful energetic portals that mark the change in seasons and invite us into deep communion with the rhythms of nature.

The Summer Solstice marks our transition into the season of blossoming and radiance. It is the longest day of the year, inviting us into our full luminosity.

The summer season is represented by the element of FIRE and the direction of South on the Medicine Wheel. This is a time for creativity, action, manifestation and peak energy. 

Through conscious connection with the energetics of this season, we are initiated into the full circle process of life, death, and rebirth and brought into deeper alignment and flow with the forces of nature.
