Medicines of the Jungle: Hapè and Sananga Ceremony & Soundbath

Come join medicine women Sarah and Dana on a journey into the sacred medicines of the jungle.

The medicines of the jungle call us into our deep, primal wisdom. They invite us to connect with the part of ourselves that still trusts the healing power of nature.

Working with these medicines in a ceremonial container opens up a channel of communication with the spirits of the plants and restores our sacred relationship to the heart of the earth.

In this ceremony, we will work with two sacred plant medicines, hapè and sananga.

Hapè is a shamanic snuff made from different sacred and medicinal jungle plants. It creates a sense of grounding, clarity and presence in the body and is often used before deep medicine work to purify the system and facilitate a calm and relaxed state of being.

Sananga is an eye medicine used traditionally by indigenous tribes to sharpen vision before a hunt. It is also a powerful energetic medicine used to access our inner vision and create clarity on our path.

You will be guided on this journey by medicine women, Sarah and Dana.

Sarah has worked with sacred plants for many years and held space in over a hundred sacred medicine ceremonies. She holds an advanced level IAKP certification to administer kambo. She is also a reiki practitioner, intuitive energy worker and spiritual integration coach. 

Dana is an herbalist and plant medicine practitioner who has studied many plant based traditions to include traditional folk herbalism, alchemy, ayurveda, and indigenous plant medicine practices. She specializes in crafting powerful plant medicines and opening pathways of communication with the the plant world through sacred ceremonial practices.

Sarah and Dana work with plants, sound, and ritual to create a powerful ceremonial container for connecting with the energies of the plants.

You will be guided through the intentional and safe use of these medicines followed by guided meditation, a plant spirit communication practice and alchemical sound journey.
