The Shamanic drum is a powerful healing tool and part of a sacred tradition of Indigenous wisdom dating back thousands of years.

Shamanic drumming utilizes rhythms and vibration to guide people into the spirit worlds as well as to anchor them back in the physical.

It guides us back to the deep rhythms of the earth and our own internal rhythms so that we can flow with the forces of life in harmony.

Creating your own drum is a sacred act of communion with the spirits of the ancestors and their ancient wisdom, the spirit of the animal that gave its life to make your drum, and the spirit of our Great Mother Earth.

Michael combines the sacred art of shamanic drum making with his background in holistic healing and shamanic journeying to create a powerful experience of  deep connection through the drum making process.

Michael will guide us through

• Preparing yourself to build the drum through Native American cultural intention setting practices and honoring the spirits of the Elk and the earth
• Step by step instructions on the process with hands on support
• How to use the drum as a sacred instrument
• The importance and history of drumming

We will be making a 16” Elk hide drum on a round maple wood frame.

All materials are included in the cost.
